Summer Food Marathon

One of the (many)perks of having my family here is I get to enjoy unlimited good food and not feel guilty spending on it since it's upon their requests:) Vinny's @ Somerville: You have to try the salmon pasta! An insane amount of pasta for $20 that lasted 3 meals for me. The place is tiny and reservation is encouraged. Watch out for big, fat white cat that loiters around the place. Toro @ South End: Cozy tapas place near the city. ALWAYS crowded after 5pm. They open at 5:30pm. Hahah. Recommended to go during Sunday brunch. You are still able to get seats outside. Perfect way to spend a lazy sunday afternoon.:) Pastiche @ Providence: It's been more than 5 times that I drove an hour away just the have my dose of their fruit tart. Tried their carrot cake for the first time and loved it. Best carrot cake ever!
Toro @ South End (again): Told you this place was good! You HAVE to order the corn with lime and aged cheese. Amazing stuff.

Perfect company, wonderful food, and amazing shopping. I can't ask for more for the weekend get away trip to meet my mom and brother who had just come from Singapore.

My mum has been an inspiration to me in all and every way. Not to mention in fashion. Coincidentally, we ended up dressing the same this day. Black jeans, Chanel Flats, oversized bag, pearl necklaces, oversized cardigans, and aviators. How cute is she?!

We ate in Fig & Olives for lunch and the lunch Prix Fixe was amazing.

Order of yellow fin fish. Amazinggg. Worth every penny. The decor of the place is also one of the creative I've ever been at. Sorry I don't have pictures of it!

Started out with lunch at Avra in midtown. Amazing seafood especially the shrimp appetizer!

So we decided to be ambitious and bike up and down hilly pavements and scary traffic to get to the most gorgeous park I've ever seen. We found ourselves 4 hours later exhausted and sprawled across the green grass with the new allure and some lemonade. Tiresome yes. Worth it? Every second of it!

The Day I Cycled for 6 hours

At the end of the biking trip,I didn't feel any pain. But I probably just jinxed it cos the next morning I felt like just staying in bed the whole day. It was worth it though. The sun was gorgeous, the air fresh and allergy free. What an accomplishment I had. Can't wait to go for another biking trip next week with Soph. I'll try to dress more cute. Kinda hard since my bike is so sporty. Hmmm...Oooh! Surprisingly there's quite a few blogs that feature cyclers and looking chic while doing so. Ten Tables at Jamaica Plain, MA, is the coziest little restaurant I've ever been to. Literally, the restaurant only consists of 10 tables. Although making sudden movements during dinner was not advisable; the food was wonderful. However, the menu is pretty limited. But for any foodies out there, this place is worth a try. RESERVATION IS A MUST!

Compliments from the chef. A tasty spoonful of delight
Seared baby octopus as appetizer
Hake fish. Sauteed and complimented with parsley flavored crumbs. Amazingly fresh and the dressing was perfect with the fish.

Thai Basil ice cream with Chocolate Terrine. Loved the chocolate but not a big fan of the basil ice cream. Weird combo. The basil was way too strong.

My outfit tonight rotated around my 2 key items. The amazing rhinestone necklace that a dear friend gave me ( Thank you again Sophia! I love it!) and my wonderful lace up Stuart Weitzman. Sophia made this by combining 3 different necklaces together. The pins held it together and the ribbons was a beautiful, elegant touch.

I just realized these are probably my highest heels. 5 inches. ( aside from my other 5inches Loubies) Surprisingly though, it's also one of my most comfortable heels EVER.

AWESOME place for pasta! However, they're only open for dinner. It is recommended that you call in to reserve or it'll be an hour wait even if it's only the 2 of you. Although the parking is seemingly impossible, the valet is super nice and the food is incredibly amazing. Have to order menu: fried calamari for appetizer, and the pasta with the mixture of lobster and uhmm diavlo( sounds like that) as the sauce. But don't expect to have a serious conversation in this place. I always find myself screaming trying to talk with my company. This place is purely for great staff and heavenly italian food.

A super cute coffee shop in the South End. It was 11am and the place was packed with people. They have always been famous for their cupcakes but surprisingly it wasn't much of a selection that day. Regardless however, this is the perfect place to experience true boston. FYI: Not a great place if you're not a dog lover. I on the other hand was happy with all the little cuties. Oh I was surprised to also see Alexis Blendel from Gilmore Girls trying to hide behind her celebrity shades. Although I was the only one who noticed her. haha.

Morton's is well known both within the states and internationally. So I was expecting alot when we went there for dinner. Much to my dissapointment, it did not look like the $$$$ restaurant open table described it as but looks very much like a sports bar. The waiter showed us the meat and fish options to choose from and I'm sure they had a good marketing strategy behind it, it didn't really work on me. I chose the sesame crusted tuna. I requested for half raw and was annoyed when it came fully cooked. The dressing was mediocre and I didn't finish it and had it packed for lunch the next day. I guess I shouldn't go to a steakhouse for fish in the first place. But from what I heard, the others were OK with their steak selection. We all agreed though that it didn't bring up to its name.

The exterior of this place does not do justice to the restaurant. Although it's right next to a highway, I never ever even thought of dropping by to have some sushi for the 5 years I've been in Boston. It looks sketchy and would honestly be the last place I would consider consuming raw fish. But a friend suggested to go and I was pleasantly pleased by the ambience of it as you enter. One tip however, DO NOT order the teppanyaki meal. The sauce is bland, the chicken and shrimp over cooked. Not to mention it's pretty expensive. However, the sushi was satisfying and the contents incredibly fresh. Especially the Spicy Scallop.

Designer Profile- Yigal Azrouel

Yigal Azrouel is a relatively new designer yet an incredibly talented one I say. I recall my first day at work during one of his shows in Boston, MA. He was this good looking guy, very calm and cool and yet friendly to all his models and helpers ( AKA me) Honestly speaking, before that day, I had heard of him before. He was not as commercialized as many other designers who I can say that are much less talented than he is. But that's just what makes Azrouel's garments such art and worth every penny. The drappery, the fitting, material, and little touches, is a great compliment to the woman figure. His famous jersey dresses are worn by an array of celebrities including Katie Lee Joel, Gabriell Union, Jessica Alba, and many others.

Here's some of my own personal collection. Each piece is an investment but they're such great staples for the wardrobe and all the compliments I get for them makes every penny oh so worth it!

Was going to invest in a $100 pair by Dolce Vita that went above the calves but backed out for the investment and the in your face fringe look. Found these on sale on www.urbanoutfitters.com and in my size for $18! I got the last pair! Went back to the site and was no longer available:)

7. Fashioning Reality by Ben Barry
About an amazing entreupreneur who set up his own modeling agency when he was 13! He's then been famous for representing beautiful everyday women instead of skinny 24'' waists, 6 feet girls. His clients represents Dove and many other big companies. ANDDD he looks pretty cute too.

Although I did not accomplish any of my wanted list from the previous post, I'm fully satisfied with all these I got today! heeeeeeee wonderfullllll

Ok, so I know many would probably disapprove of my outfit especially because I'm working in a corporate health care office. haaa. But in my defence, might as well dress fun for a serious job. Well it's an exception for me too that I hardly leave my office room and the only one enjoying my bold office attire is myself:) I made it a little more conservative by wearing flats instead of heels, and also solid black tights just cos the dress is a little on the short side.

The one in the front is my 21st B'day present. Made of 9 small square diamonds and complimented with smaller diamonds around the band. Look like a huge engagement rock from a far. Love it. :)

WANTED LIST

Soooo.. I've realized I have not made a summer list. Not that I need anything else. But I'm going to anyways. I'll decide later if I'm actually getting them. Since my birthday has passed and Xmas is way too long from now...

So far I only have 3 items on this list. But these 3 would make me oh so happy.

1. I've been looking for chunky bright colored heels. My heel collection needs more color and I've realized I have wayyyy too many flats. Although I am almost 5'9'', I'll still willingly wear these any day. FYI, Stuart Weitzman makes the comfiest shoes for crazy tall heels.

Ok so I guess I kinda lied. These past week has been insanely busy and as much as I want to update my blog, I can't:( With 9-5 work, gym, catering, church... ARKH! anywhoo... Until I get to post new things, I stumbled upon this at work from The Satorialist. HOW CUTE! If you guys don't know about The Sartorialist yet, you should check his blog out. That when time doesn't just fly by and I have time to just sit and watch people pass by on the lovely Newbury Street. Only recommendation, Met Fries! The best fries I've ever had. And a very generous portion too! Other than that, their menu isn't as appetizing. Had the Alaskan King Crab Club and was nothing special. Spent $30+ for half the fries, Club sandwich and diet coke. Not worth it even with the perfect fries.

Rustic Kitchen
210 Stuart Street, Boston

I love the whole ambience of Rustic. They had pasta as part of their decor and their menu obviously focuses on pasta. I had the Seafood Fradiavalo. It looks small, but I didn't even finish half of it. The flavoring was rich and the pasta was not as well cooked in my opinion. On the other hand, the lobster was overcooked. But the shrimp was perfect. What facinates me is the "spoonless" plate that they serve their pasta in. There's a little hole at the side in which you can twirl your pasta in. Creative and would never think of that. The service was terrible. I was asked 4 times whether I was done with my food when I obviously still had 3/4 of it on the plate. Other than that though, I would highly recommend the sangria. It was deliciously sweet and consisted of a variety of fresh fruits. The appetizers here are huge too and can be regarded as an entree. I would recommend the Mushroom Pizza! Oleana

Cute little place located on the side roads of Cambridge. I usually hate looking for parking in Cambridge, but there was ample street parking by the restaurant. A big plus for me since I don't have to pay $20 for valet. The place was cute and cozy, and the food delish. I had the Moroccan Fish Stew. I usually don't like anything with tomato flavor but this was gooood. My friend had the chicken and it was even better! Tasty and tender. The best chicken I've ever had. It also pleases me the creative plating that the chef presented the dishes in. Although I was stuffed, I HAD to order their dessert. After all, Oleana did win Best Pastry Chef. I had the Chocolate Souffle but what turned out was Vanilla Ice cream with a chocolate like ganache as the topping, and sides of peaches and jelly to compliment everything. It was heavenly and impressive how they made out something so simply ( vanilla ice cream) into art both for the eyes and tongue. LOVED IT. Zaftigs Delicatessen

There's usually long lines infront for this famous Jewish restaurant especially for breakfast. And although I've only been there once, I loveeeee the banana stuffed french toast with berries on top. It's that of a huge portion thus the $8 price tag for it. Very satisfying. Won't recommend the eggs tho. The omellete was tasteless and the only reason me and my roomate ordered it was to fulfill eating something egg during Easter breakfast. Haha.

I am in loveeeee with the Victor & Rolf collection for Samsonite Black Label. I'm sure the prices are beyond belief but it doesn't stop me from dreaming. Travelling to Paris with the black version (see below). The details, ruching, bow accent completes the elegant chic world traveler image I'm obviously trying to pursue. Haha. Until I can invest on this, I'll just stick with my Benetton ones. And occasionally steal my mom's Louis Vuittons.

I had a sudden craving for something chocolate and something peanut butter. So I decided to mix it both and make a chocolate cupcake with peanut butter icing. Although satisfying, the icing was wayyyy to sweet for me. But I like the taste balance that it creates with the slightly bittersweet chocolate taste of the cupcake. I wish I could make it look prettier...

Bold prints, bright colors, flowy chiffon/silk- The typical Matthew Williamson trademark has now come to H&M. Although I was initially excited with the launch that is to happen 2 days from now, looking through the collection at www.hm.com, it was mediocre at best. Sure I see Matthew Willamson all over it, but I was hoping for more summery blouses and dresses that he is well known for. Not to mention, the prices are still relatively pricey. Or maybe I'm just dissapointed in general that it seems like NOONE can fulfill my silk blousy print top (similar to Tucker- refer to Spring Cravings post) yearning. It's spring, shouldn't all designers have pretty silk prints?

The denim jacket has always been a spring essential. One thing I don't agree however, is people spending hundreds for it or even going for a modern cut designer one. I've had my Guess denim jacket since 8th grade and I'm still loving it. Denim jackets are best when it's in its authentic type. AKA cropped, medium blue shade. The classic. I would recommend going to the Gap or even Wrangler. I love pairing mine with my maxi dresses during the summer as well. It somehow dresses it down and also keeps me warm in the freezing air conditioned malls.

I found this really interestingly weird article about how a Harvard student invented an inhaler that you could puff on to get the taste of chocolate lingering in your mouth. Personally, I think it's silly. Isn't the whole point of eating chocolate is to savor every moment of it; as it melts in your mouth, and licking off any messy drizzles from your fingers. Not to mention to be able to say, that was worth every calorie. What's chocolate without the experience of eating it? Hmm...

Spring Cravings

Although it's not so much Spring yet here in Boston, I've been wanting to dress more Spring like for weeks. Out with the basic greys, layered looks, and closed toe shoes. I want something flowy, something flowered, and something tan on bare legs...I'm excited to rock my heels without tights, and wear flowy pastel shades paired with my distressed or boyfriend jeans. The origins of the Ballet Flat

According to Wikipedia, the essence of the ballet flat has existed at least the 16th century, in which both men and women wore. It'll be VERY entertaining to see a guy pull those flats that are now a staple for every girl's shoe collection. The ballet flats began with the launch of Repetto and were brought into the fashion world by the request of style icon, Brigitte Bardot in 1956 for her movie role. She then requested it to be personalizedfor daily wear. Ever since Repetto, designers high and low end came flocking in designs to transform The Ballet Flat. Those amongst my people's favorites are Repetto, London Sole, Sue London. Although they kept true to the authenticity of the ballet flats, they were harder to purchase in a physical store here in Boston. So with my bad luck of online measurements of shoes ( referencing back to my awesome black flats post- in which i ended up hating the ballet flats), I usually end up purchasing more generic brands like Tory Burch reva flats, and Ferragamo varina flats for their wide availability and trust worthy quality. Although success with both, I am still in constant search of the classic black flats ALA ballet flats style. With no hardware, just plain black; classic. I decided to go to the Royalty of classic. Chanel. Although a big splurge, the Chanel Ballerines Black Flats I purchased were well worth it. Not only did the flats make my feet look long and narrow, it was amazingly comfortable. Oh and also, it's Chanels. Need I say more? :)

Restaurant Week Boston- Top of the Hub

I regretted closing my 2 weeks of Resto Week mararthon at Top of the Hub. The only reason I went there was for the gorgeous view and to take advantage of the unreasonably priced menu with the Resto Week specials of $33 ++. This was my third time here and indeed I always enjoy the ambience. However, for all three times, I was always directed to the bar to wait for my table. I mean, you cannot not order anything when you’re hogging the counter space. I ended up ordering my typical Mojito. And it was oh so gooood. This was my new favorite place for my usual drink. ( the Mojitos just keep on getting better and better from one place to another) We got our table 30 minutes later and was slightly disappointed to be tucked in a corner instead of by the windows where you can enjoy the whole view of Boston.
The Resto Week menu was very minimal. I started off with the clam chowder, excited for the typical Boston cream like soup. What came was a tomato based soup filled with potatoes and non visible clams. I was confused for a while and then accepted the fact that I had ordered a modified version of the famous chowder. Although I vowed to order something else other than fish, I didn’t have a choice (I don’t eat red meat) and ended up with the order of the spicy flaked salmon. It was terrible. I had a third of my fish and gave up. It had a weird mixture of sweet miso like paste underneath the fish and the base sauce did not complement each other at all. There was a tangy, sweet, sour confusing flavoring. It's usually very hard for me to be unimpressed of a salmon dish. But this has got to be one of the worst. I closed the meal with an order of the crème brule. This was the only good part of the meal. It was of a large size in which I could only finish half. But I do have to admit it’s one of the best brules I’ve ever tried. Overall, if it wasn’t for the gorgeous view and the company of my lovely friends, I would be pissed that I ended up spending $50 for a meal I hardly touched…

Restaurant Week Boston- Sibling Rivalry

Sibling Rivalry is definitely the best Resto Week restaurant by far. Everything from the food up to the ambience, it was perfect. When we came for our 8:30pm reservation, the place was packed. And altho we had to wait 30 minutes for our table, I didn't mind it at all. The nicely decorated place is a mix of modern and classy. The dimly lit dining area and cozy couches contributed to the homey feel of the restaurant. What impresses me most of the place is the concept of it all. The variety options of the menu are seperated to 2 sibling chefs specialties. And every night, the two brother-chefs supposedly "battle it out" in the kitchen.

I started off my muchly anticipated meal with the tuna tartar and sushi rice complimented with a selection of sauces. Following that I had the order of the fried flounder. I loved it. With a surprising garnish of cheese and also drizzled creamy dressing over the top, the crunch of the fish and the diced potatoes all blended very nicely. Although at times it tasted slightly salty, my glass of Riesling was perfect to maintain the tasty wonderful flavor. I closed my meal with an order of bread puding with vanilla ice cream on top. IT WAS HEAVENLY. The sweetness of the bread with the stuffed blueberries beneath it, and the ice cream to put it all together; it was the perfect way to complete my very satisfying meal.

Marliave was hidden in the corner of a sketchy alleyway off in the Beacon Hill area. Upon entering the restaurant, the creaky door and staircase gave me a bad first impression right away but I later then found out that it’s been around for over 100 years. Although the service was pretty bad, (the waitress didn’t even know how to describe the entrée that I ordered) the food was generally good. And best of all, it was of a generous portion. Perfect to satisfy my then growling stomach. I started off with the lobster bisque. It was light and that of the perfect flavoring. Not too tasty neither too bland. Then the trout served as my entrée. The trout was creatively presented by having 2 thin fried pieces of it to sandwich the sautéed spinach and tomatoes. It was the perfect combination of ingredients with the sweetness of the tomatoes contrasting the salty dressing and the fried trout. I liked the fact that there was that extra crispiness as you take each bite of the fish. I finished off my meal with the chocolate cake dessert with vanilla ice cream. It was generally good but then again most chocolate cakes are. Overall, it was a really interesting experience being in a building that had such a long history behind it. I just wished that they could have embraced the history in their décor and ambience even further.

The order of The Lobster Fra Diavlo, completely and entirely satisfied my pasta cravings. Although the dish cost approximately $70, it was the perfect meal to share between us three girls. ( Probably only sufficient for a boy) The portion was humongous and included fresh lobster, calamari, and clams tossed in tomato/seafood flavored linguini. It was wonderful.

The only reason why I like this place is only for its location, late hours, and their MOJITO. Their mojito has go to be one of the best around. Even better than my previous favorite in The Fireplace. Restaurant Week Boston- Mamma Maria

Mamma Maria was wonderfully DIVINE. The food, the ambience, the service. Everything was perfect. I was pleasantly surprised to see the wide selection of choices from the menu for Restaurant week. Usually what you can order is pretty limited but there was an array of tempting dishes to choose from. I started off with the tuna tartar... It was fresh and the taste didn't linger long in your buds; which was wonderful for me. As for the entree, I ordered the lobster tortelli. Although at first glance I was rather dissapointed of the size, each bite was incredible. With sauteed asparugus and mushrooms thrust above it, it was phenomenal. The compliments of the vegetable and the tortelli made a surprising tease to the tongue. Although the lobster content was rather on the salty side, the handmade tortelli neutralized it. I finished off with the order of flan as my dessert. The presentation was nothing special but the flavor did it justice. The flan melts upon each bite and your buds capture the strong, sweet caramel flavor. Unlike any other flan, it had a light texture but yet a lasting taste.

As for the ambience, it was perfect. We sat by the windows and felt that we were in a cafe in Europe. The way they arranged the dining areas to be in cozy room, and lighting dimmed, brought about the essence of originality of this fine European Restaurant.

Mamma Maria is a precious treasure found in the heart of the city.

Mediocre was to say the best about this place. Honestly, I was expecting much more. Upon entering the cozy french bistro, u determine your mind that the dining experience would be wonderful. For me personally however, Aquitane did not fulfill the first impression it gives its customers.

I started out with a request of Risling. In which they didn’t have. But the waiter was nice enough to offer me something similar. (Remy Parrier, Vallee des Fardins 2007) It ended up being the best tasting wine ever. I decided to skip the Prix Fixe menu and order the Crispy Salmon with vinegrette. The fish was amazingly fresh as it melts upon each bite. The dressing accompanying it however, was not as great. It was way too salty. I decided to order a dessert to neutralize the taste. I ordered Profiteroles with vanilla bean ice cream, hot chocolate sauce. Much to my disappointment, what came were little cold puffs with vanilla ice cream sandwiched in between. Honestly, I prefer Costco cream puffs. I didn’t finish it.

On a positive note, the waiter and wait staff were so friendly and welcoming. And made my dining experience at Aquitane not as disappointing as it would be. Total check for the night? $45.

3. Smoked Salmon Sandwich-Cafe Mangal, Wellesley
Smoked salmon tends to be overly salty for me. But this works out well in the sandwich they have. Filled with vegetables, mayo and other ingredients that I do not know of, this is a perfect, healthy lunch meal.

4. Fresh Fruit Sangria-The Fireplace, Brookline
Armani Cafe used to have the best sangria for me. But ever since they closed down, it was surprisingly hard to find any. The one they offer here is perfect.

5. Customized Mac & Cheese-The Publick House, Brookline
This is worth EVERY calorie. You can customize the ingredient of it with an array of options. Spinach, mushroom, ham...

6. Lobster Ravioli-Bottega, Brookline
They dont make this everyday but sure is worth the wait each week. It taste great with any sauce and it doesn't have that weird stale taste that lobster contents usually have.

7. Chicken Rice-Wai Wai, Boston
This has got to be the best AND cheapest meal anyone can get around Boston. It cost $5.50 for a chunk of white rice, layered with a generous slices of boneless chicken. The special sauce that they include puts the whole meal together. This meal usually lasts me for the whole day.

8. Pistachio Cake.-Tatte, Brookline
Heavenly homemade tart drizzled with caramel sauce and sprinkled with crushed pistachio, this treat melts away in each bite leaving you to yearn for more. Altho it costs an expensive $7.50 for a slice, you deserve it.

9. Popcorn Chicken-88 Foodcourt, Brighton
Tasty, savoury chicken pieces that is usually made infront of you ( thus the wait), you can adjust the spicyness by request.

10. Crab Rangoon-Panda Express, Newton
Aparently, there's no such thing as Crab Rangoon in Asia. I had these from Panda alot when I was here for middle school and craved for it when I was back in Asia. By far the best rangoon. Other places tends to be too dry and not enough filling.

The importance of food presentation does the same effect for our appetite satisfaction as a fashionable get-up boosts our self esteem.I'm sure many times you find yourself drooling over intricately decorated desserts dishes as you flip through cookbooks and finding yourself in Finale (famous dessert place in Boston, MA) the next minute. A great food presentation indeed gives you the subconcious craving and satisfaction even before you took the first bite. Perhaps that is why I love dining so much.

Almost always, people find it weird that I love making my food look pretty. Whether it means I'm eating alone or cooking for 8 friends, I always garnish and present it the best way possible. So following are the items I have gradually crossed out and purchased. Let's start with the items bought to show my accomplishment in welcoming the finally pretty weather. (By pretty, I mean sun and above 40 degrees)

1. Boyfriend Jeans, American Eagle, $50
I found these amazing pair from AE. I've been debating whether or not splurging on Current Elliot boyfriend jeans would be worth it. Definitely not. These AEs are comfortable, fits perfectly (not too baggy), and the price is the best part. I can't wait to rock them with my new motorcycle sandal heels, a white tee, black blazer and THE Bottega bag. Ofcourse when the weather outside reaches above 55 degrees for more than half the day. Doubtful that it's anytime soon.

2. Distressed Skinny Jeans, American Eagle, $50
I fell in love with the pair that Nicole Richie have been wearing. I believe it's Current Elliot at the price point of almost $300. So I was more than happy when I found these in AE as well. They're more on the lighter wash, but the fit is amazing... not to mention I could fit into a size 0 skinny jeans. Can't miss out on that.

3. Grey Scarf, Louis Vuiton, FREE
I'm a HUGE scarf fan. Weird enough, I have every color except grey. I've been searching for the perfect one and was about to purchase one when I realized it was a little more than my budget (Yigal Azrouel, $480) so I waited and BEHOLD! I received an LV grey/silver silk scarf as one of my birthday presents. The size, the color, the material, ( and also the designer) was perfectttttt.

4. Statement Skirt, Yigal Azrouel, $XXX

Well this one was a big splurge. But the way I reasoned it out was that a girl should always have a long lasting skirt that you can wear from season to season, and perhaps vintage-fy it and pass it down to your daughter. This reasoning worked out well for the gorgeous YA that I purchased. It's a stunning blue, with pleated ruffles, and an unexpected zipper at the back. Because it's still freezing out, I wore it with black tights, heels, and a cardigan. It looks amazinggggg. Wore it once and got probably 10 compliments during the day.

5. Blue Dress, Zara $60
I've been looking for a specific blue color for a dress that I can wear during the winter and transition into spring. This dress fulfilled the criteria. I wore it out with black tights, leopard print peeptoes, and a leather jacket. It looks Tres Chic. It'll look amazing too with a white tank underneath it, skinny gold belt, and gladiator sandals for a more casual, spring-summer look.

6. Motorcycle Sandal, Pour La Victoire, $XXX
It was love at first sight for these babies. Ever since the Manolos in Sex & the City were shown, I wanted my very own. (But a significantly less pricey onces too) Not only are the ones I got look amazing, it's light weight, and extremely comfortable too. I like the fact that it has no hardware on it. Because it makes me self concious whenever I mix metals. Silvers with golds doesn't work for me.

7. Lovequotes Scarf, FREE
I've wanted a lovequotes scarf eversince it became big. But the ample selection of colors are just too difficult for me to narrow down. But it was yet another surprise when I got one from my good friends. Not to mention it was one of my fave colors!
